A phone stand that folds flat enough to sit in a wallet, now on its third Kickstarter campaign and its third delivery. Unusually for this category, somebody outside the company has published a full review of a unit in their possession.

Three campaigns, three deliveries

Most of what we look at has one campaign behind it. This has a decade of them, and they are all still readable.

The 2024 campaign raised nearly a hundred times its goal and was marked a Project We Love by Kickstarter. The promised month was December 2024. By August 2026 the product is on open sale, shipping from the United States within a business day.

The detail we find most telling is smaller: this creator has backed 46 other people’s projects. That is not proof of anything, but a first-time creator who has never backed a campaign and one who has funded dozens of them are not in the same position when it comes to knowing what backers expect.

Somebody outside the company actually used it

Jeff Richardson published a full review at iPhone J.D. on 16 July 2025, a working review of the product in hand, written under his own name, seven months after the campaign shipped. TechCrunch covered an earlier generation in June 2016, and that piece is still live.

We opened both. They exist, they are readable, and they are written by named people at publications with editorial staff. In crowdfunded hardware that combination is the exception rather than the rule.

What the maker publishes, and what it leaves out

Here the picture reverses. The product page is unusually thin on numbers for a physical object.

The eight adapter thicknesses are the only measurements on the page, and they describe the phone case it fits rather than the tripod itself. For a product whose entire premise is that it is thin enough to live in a wallet, the thickness of the thing is not stated where a buyer would look for it.
