Behind it sits the strongest delivery record we have come across so far: six Kickstarter campaigns from one account, four of them marked fulfilled. And at the bottom of the page selling it today, a sentence that anyone about to spend US$99.98 should read first.

Read the last line of the product page

We put this first because it is the single most useful thing on this page, and because it is easy to miss — it sits at the very bottom of a long marketing description, after the warranty, the drop resistance and the leather sleeve.

“The ”See U“ Smart Display USB Drive Flash Drive is currently in trial production. We need a bit more time to verify its functionality, performance, and stability. Please stay tuned for our next update!”

That is the maker’s own text, on the maker’s own product page, on 7 August 2026. The same page shows the product as available and takes orders at five price points from US$99.98 to US$499.99.

Trial production is a normal stage, and a company saying so out loud is more honest than one that does not. But a page can be a pre-order or a shop, and this one reads as a shop while disclosing the former in its last paragraph. If you buy today, treat it as a pre-order and check the shipping terms before paying.

The delivery record behind it

This is where the maker is unusually strong, and it is all readable on one page.

Four campaigns carrying Kickstarter’s own “Marked as fulfilled” label is a strong record for this platform. The label is set by the creator rather than audited by Kickstarter, so it is a claim rather than a proof, but it is a claim made in public, on a platform, against a campaign whose backers can answer back in the comments.

An update posted a week before we looked is a good sign in a category where campaign pages usually go quiet.

A caution about the name

There are two different Kickstarter accounts using this brand name, and it is easy to credit one with the other’s record.

• MOVE SPEED (creator movespeedtech), the account described above. Six projects, four fulfilled, and active in early August 2026.
• MoveSpeed (a numeric creator account) — ran one campaign in February 2023 for an 80,000 mAh power bank. It raised CA$36,153 from 110 backers, posted 2 updates, and the account last logged in on 6 August 2024. That power bank is no longer listed in the maker’s current online catalogue, which we read in full on 7 August 2026.

We are pointing out that the strong record belongs to the first account, and a reader searching the brand will find both.

What the maker publishes about the drive

Two notes on this table. The maker’s page says the drive “reaches up to 1090 MB/s in real-world tests” — that is the maker describing its own testing, not an outside result. And the screen specification is absent from the page selling the product, which is odd given the screen is the entire reason this drive exists.

Who has written about it from outside the company

One source, and it is a real one.

Notebookcheck published a piece by Polly Allcock on 13 November 2025, updated 17 February 2026. It is bylined to a named writer at a publication with editorial staff, and it carries figures the maker’s own shop does not: a 1.65-inch TFT screen at 350 nits with a 170° viewing angle, and separate read and write speeds by capacity — write from 600 MB/s on the 128 GB up to 1,030 MB/s on the larger drives.

The author does not state they had a unit, and the figures appear to come from the campaign. So it is coverage rather than a review, but it is the only place we found the screen specification written down at all, which tells you something about the product page.

Beyond that: listings on AliExpress, Amazon and several reseller sites, which are shops rather than reporting.

• The page sells a product it describes as being in trial production, and does not say so until the last paragraph
• The screen specification — the drive’s whole purpose — is absent from the page selling it
• No write speeds, dimensions, weight or endurance rating published by the maker
• The only speed testing cited anywhere is the maker’s own
• A second Kickstarter account uses the same brand name, and its one campaign’s product is no longer in the catalogue
• US$499.99 for the 2 TB is a lot to pay for a drive nobody outside the company has published measurements of

Where this leaves a buyer

The 128 GB at US$99.98 is a low-risk way to try an unusual idea. We would not spend US$499.99 on the 2 TB while the product page still calls the drive a trial production and publishes no write speed or endurance rating.

Is it really 1,090 MB/s?
That is the maker’s figure, from the maker’s own testing. Notebookcheck lists up to 1,080 MB/s read for the larger capacities and lower figures for the 128 GB and 256 GB. Nobody outside the company has published a measurement we could find.
